Vanathi Srinivasan to be discharged tomorrow after full recovery; likely to join PM’s Coimbatore campaign

Coimbatore North NDA candidate Vanathi Srinivasan, who was undergoing treatment at a private hospital, has recovered well and will be discharged tomorrow, according to a statement issued by the hospital. Her return has boosted morale among BJP and alliance cadres, who are expecting her to resume campaigning soon.

Coimbatore North NDA candidate Vanathi Srinivasan, who was recently hospitalised, is set to be discharged tomorrow, April 17th after responding well to treatment and making a full recovery, according to a statement issued by the private hospital where she has been undergoing care.

The hospital stated that Vanathi Srinivasan was admitted for a mild leg infection and received the required treatment. Doctors have confirmed that she has recovered well and is fit to be discharged tomorrow.

The development has brought relief and renewed confidence among BJP and NDA cadres in Coimbatore North, where party workers had been eagerly awaiting her return to the campaign trail. Her temporary absence had led senior leaders and party functionaries to step in and continue election activities in the constituency.

On Wednesday, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta campaigned in Coimbatore North on behalf of Vanathi Srinivasan, meeting party workers and appealing for support to the NDA candidate.

With Prime Minister Narendra Modi scheduled to campaign for NDA candidates in Coimbatore on April 18, Vanathi Srinivasan is also expected to be present on the stage alongside other alliance candidates, marking her likely return to active public campaigning after recovery.
