The arterial Avinashi road in the city, which is dotted many colleges and educational institutions wore a festive look today, as a great number of students and their parents have thronged the colleges in this stretch to apply for various courses offered in this colleges. 



With the plus, two results declared today the stretch from Neelambur to Lakshmimill, which has many reputed colleges, looked crowed and traffic jams become the order of the day. 



The students are flocking to the various colleges like PSG Group of Institutions, and Krishnammal Group of Institutions which are situated in this vital stretch. 



"Since Coimbatore has emerged as a major educational hub in Tamilnadu, students from other parts of the state are also preferring to join in the city colleges." say educators.
