Protestors demaning to vacate a TASMAC out let in Veerakeralam – Vedapatti road blocked traffic due to which on going traffic was affected.
The protestors said that though they have petitioned the District Collector TN Hariharan and a promise was given to shift out the TASMAC out let (No: 8465) no effort has been taken to remove it, even though it was situated near a high way.
If the said TASMAC outlet is not shifted out immediately we would resort to even torching it, the agitators said.
