Coimbatore: Tamil Nadu Electricity Board (TANGEDCO) has announced that power supply will be disrupted in multiple areas tomorrow (July 14) due to monthly maintenance work at Koundampalayam substation.
The monthly electrical maintenance work at the substation will be conducted tomorrow from 9 AM to 5 PM. These maintenance activities are being undertaken to ensure the quality of power supply and to enhance technical safety measures.
Due to this maintenance work, power supply will be unavailable in the following areas: Athikadavu 24-hour drinking water scheme, Housing Board, A.R. Nagar, Thamarai Nagar, Driver Colony, Samundeeswari Nagar, Sukuna Nagar, Union Road, Ashok Nagar, Murugan Nagar, and Bharathi Nagar, TANGEDCO announced today.
Residents in these areas are advised to plan accordingly and make necessary arrangements for the eight-hour power outage. The electricity board has assured that power supply will be restored immediately after completion of the maintenance work by 5 PM.
