The ‘Pride of Coimbatore’ award was presented to Chairman of Sri Krishna Sweets M. Krishnan at ‘Santhosham 2016’- the District Conference of Rotary International Dist 3201 here on Saturday. District Governor Kamlesh V. Raheja gave away the award to Mr. Krishnan, in recognition of his service to the society.
The Chancellor of Avinashilingam Deemed University, P.R. Krishnakumar, was also recognised on the occasion. Clubs in Coimbatore region that are more than 50 years old and eight Rotarians were honoured at that occasion. A panel discussion on activities to be taken up was the other important event of the day. The two-day event will conclude on Sunday.
