Auto Drivers Union insist Corporates to stay away

The Coimbatore Auto Driver Union members filed a petition today at the Collectorate alleging on the functionality of Makkal Auto Services, Jugnoo Autos, and few others private autos operated by Private Corporate firms.

They stated that these corporates are luring the public with mind-blowing discount packages and offers and deceive them by imposing higher rates than proposed by the Government.

'These unprincipled operators backed by Corporates, kill our livelihood', outraged the union members.

Hence, they insisted that the State and Central governments should initiate steps to restrain the operations of these new Autorickshaw operators. They apprised that the union would declare strikes and protests if their pleas are unheard.
