DMK Councillors demonstrate sit-in protest at the Corporation office

A sit-in protest was demonstrated today by the Councillors of North zone at the Corporation office. 

All the protesting councillors were from DMK party who alleged that the Corporation has not been extending support to their wards. 



Issues on basic amenities, Sanitation drives, repairs works and grievances by the ward people have been purposely neglected by the Corporation in the notion of creating a bad name for DMK party amongst the ward people, they complained.

The Ward Councillors who were part of this protests are:

4. Nandakumar Ward No.52

5. Rajendran Ward No. 58

6. Sami Ward No.61

'The allocation of works at the Corporation is not been happening efficiently and transparently', they alleged. Hence a white paper declaration should be made by the Corporation officials, they urged.
