The founder of Puthiya Tamilagam Party, Dr. Krishnasamy today in Coimbatore, addressed the press on various issues prevailing in the State of Tamilnadu.
He stated that the on-going protests by the lawyers has created huge stagnation of cases which has caused severe grievances to the public and lawyers as well. Nearly 66,000 lawyers from 32 districts have been staging protest against the amendment act since two months.
He questioned on the suspension of the 126 lawyers by the Bar Council, without any prior notice. He insisted that the State and Central governments should intervene and settle the issue amicably.
