Black Flag protest against Chandra Babu Naidu's visit to Coimbatore

The CM of Andhra Pradesh, Chandra Babu Naidu has arrived at Coimbatore to attend a wedding function.

A few political and social outfits from the city had issued protest statements prior to his arrival.

A few hours ago, members of 'Social Justice' party demonstrated a black flag protest near KG Theatre against Andhra CM's arrival. They condemned the Andhra Govt's initiative to build a check dam at Paalar and the recent arrest of 32 tamilian's by Andhra Pradesh Police on charges of red sander smuggling. They also evoked the encounter incident last year, killing 20 tamilians by AP's Special task force at Seshachalam Reserve Forest, AP.

A similar protest was demonstrated at Anna statue by activists of 'Thandhai Periyar Dravida Kalagam' condemning Andhra Government's brutal attacks on tamil people.

The police arrested the protestors and cleared off the protests.
