City Commissioner Amalra, today paid a surprise visit to the Puliyakulam Boys Club. He inquired on the facilities of the club and encouraged the youngsters towards fitness-related activities.
Around 115 youngsters both boys & girls have been undergoing training on sports like Kabadi, Volleyball, Silambam etc., along with physical fitness exercises.
'Puluakulam boys club' was the first club installed in Tamil Nadu, during the reign of 'Karmaveerar Kamarajar'. He launched many clubs across Tamil Nadu, in the notion of creating and strengthening the bonding between public and the police.
