Chutti Krishna, the famed fancy dress competition for kids was organized today at Brookefields Coimbatore.
Kids from age group 3 to 6 participated in the fancy dress competition. 'Go Green' is the theme of the competition.
The 'Kovai Green League' initiative that was launched to pay tribute to Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam has been the inspiration behind the 'Go Green' theme.
The cute little Krishna's were seen in jubilation, all the participants were dancing around, practising dialogues, singing devotional songs well before the commencement of the competition. All the kids delivered simple one-liners on the importance of greenery Coimbatore like, 'Stop cutting trees, save earth'.
Vatsala Jagannathan, Correspondent of SRN Matriculation School and Gokila Subbain, a passionate artist were the judges for the event. They are the daughters of Sevaratna Dr. Venkataselu Naidu, Trustee of SRN Groups.
