TNSDC announces free short-term ITI training courses

The Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation (TNSDC) has been catering to the needs of the unemployed youth and creating skilled manpower through intensive state-of-art free training courses in varied sectors.

The TNSDC has announced a free short-term training program for the engineering and non-engineering sectors. Those who have passed 5th, 8th and 10th standards are eligible for the free training. The short-term training course would commence in the evening hours at the Government ITI Centre, Thudiyalur.

Training would be provided in the following categories, Air Conditioner Mechanic, Four Wheeler Mechanic, Electrician, Fitter, Turner, Milling and basic Training in repairing basic household electronic gadgets and CAD/CAM training.

A travel allowance of Rs. 100/- per day would be provided for the trainees. On successful completion of the training, a Government recognised completion certificate will be issued to the trainees, TNSDC will host a campus interview, as well for the trainees to avail immediate placements post-training.
