Elephant calf rescued from water tank in Periyanaickenpalayam

A 5-year-old elephant calf, fell into a water tank in Rayaroothupathi, near Naickenpalayam in Periyanaickenpalayam area. The PN Palayam forest department officials were informed about the incident. After a tough 3-hour fight, the forest officials using a JCB rescued the elephant safely from the well.
