Substandard dengue examination at Private hospitals, alleges CMCH Dean

Coimbatore Medical College Hospital (CMCH), Dean, Dr. Edwin Jo alleged that the medical examinations conducted by private hospitals to rule out dengue fever are being conducted in a very substandard way resulting in spreading of the disease.  

He stated that the even after treatment, the dengue virus will take time to leave the body, until such time the patient with dengue should be carefully administered with necessary treatment. Improper treatment will lead to adverse effects or even death of the patient. He assured that the CMCH is equipped with all needful medication to treat dengue and swine flu.
