In a gruesome accident yesterday, Boopathy son of Ramu from Erode district, a 2nd year engineering student of Kumaraguru College of Technology, Saravanampatti died on the spot.
Yesterday night, while Boopathy was traveling towards Saravanampatti in his bike, he unexpectedly hit a pedestrian, Mohanlal, who was trying to cross the road. Both Boopathy and Mohanlal sustained severe injuries.
Public who witnessed the accident rushed them to a nearby hospital. Boopathy died on the way to the hospital. The Saravanampatti police have registered a case against the incident.
