Thiru S.P. Velumani, Minister for Municipal Administration, Rural Development and Implementation of Special Programme had organised an interactive grievance meet at ward no:79, 23 and 24.
The special grievance camps were held at Mecregar street, Sakthi Maraimman Street, Lawley road, Sir Shanmugham street, RS Puram, Arunachalam Street, Siddhi Vinayagar Street, Sundaram Street, Ponnaiyarajapuram areas. People interacted with the Minister directly and explained their grievances briefly and submitted their petitions.

The Minister passed on the petitions to the concerned officials on the spot and advised them to pay attention to the issues, with immediate effect. He also emphasised on the special schemes announced by Chief Minister Dr. J. Jayalalitha for the welfare of the people of TN, especially threw light on creating more women self help groups, as proposed by the CM.
District Revenue Officer T. Christuraj, Asst. Corporation Commissioner Gandhimathi, Sub-Collector Vijayalakshmi and senior officials of various government departments were present during the meet.
