'Recycle' a laudable initiative by Radio City

'RECYCLE', an initiative by Radio City Coimbatore to increase the usage of cycle in the city and also to provide cycles to unprivileged children. This initiative was flagged off yesterday in the presence of Coimbatore's Corporation Commissioner, Vijaya Karthikeyan.

The 'recycle' team have collected unused and dumped cycles from various apartments, those cycles were refurbished by the team. Those refurbished cycles were provided to the children at Karumbukkadai and Ukkadam tank bund areas. The team is planning to provide more cycles to children at different areas of the city, hence have requested the public to generously donate unused cycles.

'Instead of dumping the cycles for meagre money, the 'recycle' team requests the people to join with them and bring smiles in the faces of economically-deprived children. People who would to contribute cycles for this laudable cause can call +91 422 663 9911..
