Senthil Kumar (41) was convicted and imprisoned, last week for his involvement in bike thefts. Today morning, he tried to commit suicide in the Coimbatore Central prison by inflicting injuries on himself with a broken steel tumbler. The prison officials immediately rushed him to the Government Hospital. He is currently undergoing treatment at the hospital.
