The opposition party DMK have extended their firm support in today's bandh over the Cauvery issue. Just an hour ago, DMK Leader, Stalin was arrested for staging rail roko ate the Egmore Station, Chennai. Rajya Sabha MP Kanimozhi also courted arrest for staging rail roko.
Presently, DMK MLA of Singanallur Constituency Na. Karthick was arrested by the Police for staging rail roko at the Peelamedu railway station. As of now, all top leaders of various political outfits in support of today's bandh have been arrested for demonstrating protests in various forms over the ongoing Cauvery dispute and the atrocities against Tamils living in Karnataka.
