'Sanjeevini' special free camp on diabetes organised by Sri Ramakrishna Hospital
“SANJEEVINI' a two-day free camp on 'Diabetes Education and Detection Mela' is been organised by Sri Ramakrishna Hospital on 17th and 18th September 2016 at Sri Ramakrishna Kalyana Mandapam.

The event was inaugurated by Swathi Rohit, Chief Business Manager of Ramkrishna trust, in the presence of other dignitaries of the trust.
The camp focusses on screening, counseling and advice for - Diabetes Mellitus, Thyroid Dysfunction, Excessive Weight gain, PCOS, Mood Swings, Excess body hair, Excessive Tiredness, Menstrual irregularities, Metabolic Bone Disorders, Growth Hormone disorders, Hormone Replacement therapy, Pituitary dysfunction, Secondary hypertension and Hair loss.
Close to 15 stalls with expert crew of doctors and medical staff will aid the visitors to take part in the Vision testing, foot examination, free dental check up, dietary counselling free sugar/thyroid screening, direct fitness counseling/consulting, products exhibition, free medical counseling, patient awareness education, physiotherapy advice, basic cardiac screening ECD snoring-diabetic link education will also provided in the camp.

All these exclusive services will be done 'free of cost'. The regional transport office, Coimbatore have extended their support to the camp by asking their drivers to participate in the camp and get benefited.

Dr. Suresh Damodaran, Endocrinologist will be heading this special. He stated that 'the camp is just not a regular medical camp, we focus on educating the people on the latest technology available to treat diabetes and clear their doubts and disbeliefs associated with thyroid, diabetes, obesity and weight management. 'The response for the camp has been overwhelming and close to 500 people have visited the camp, since the commencement' he said.

The camp will be open from morning 9.00 am to evening 4.00 pm on 17th & 18th September.
