Special session on 'Cloud Computing' at Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts and Science

A Seminar on 'Cloud Computing' was conducted by the Department of Computer Science of Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts and Science for Women, today. Mr. V. Senthil Kumar, Technical Architect- TCS, Bangalore was the Chief Guest for the event.

The Welcome Address was delivered by Dr.V. Krishnapriya, Head of the Department of Computer Science. She emphasised on transforming industrial experience as a platform for academic/professional careers. 



Senthil Kumar, Chief Guest of the event shared the valuable insights on the concept of Cloud Computing and briefed on the architecture and various services of cloud computing.  He also clarified the queries posed by the students and faculties based on cloud based computing. He also demonstrated a live session on Cloud Computing using Open Stack. He insisted the students to add humanity and social responsibility along with what they are learning. 

Dr.K.Chitra, Principal, Professors of Department of Computer Science and more than 200 students were present during the session.
