Members of the the Indian Real Estate, Builders, Land Developers and Land Brokers Welfare association today petitioned to the District Collector, T.N. Hariharan, on the recent amendment by the Court barring registration of unapproved plots and sites.
They stated that the registrations during these recent days have drastically reduced, following the Court's order posing restriction on registration of 'Panchyat approved' and on 'Unapproved sites'.
'This phenomenon has adversely affected the livelihood of lakhs of real estate developers and builders and all allied stakeholders, big time' they said. Hence the petitioners requested the Collector to help them in this regard and better their subsistence.
