Sparkling Diwali sales begins at Co-optex centres


Every year the 'Co-optex' by hosting early Diwali sales with catchy discounts, kick starts the festive mood of the City. And this year is no different, the Marutham Co-operative society has flagged off their Diwali festive sale, starting from today.

District Collector, TN Hariharan inaugurated the Diwali sale at the Marudham Co-optex store, Park gate. He also handed over the first purchase to the buyer. While speaking to the press, he reported that 'Co-optex, is a cooperative store run by the Tamilnadu Government for marketing and sale of various products of the handloom weavers from all around the State.



For this Diwali, co-optex has planned to introduce soft silk sarees and many latest silk varieties. The Diwali festive sale will be held from 15.09.2016 to 31.01.2017, with enticing discounts up to 30%. The big sale has begun at all co-optex stores in TN. 

The customers who purchase over Rs. 2000/- are eligible to participate in the 'Thangamazhai Thittam' a special lucky draw scheme and win surprise gold coins and gifts. In order to facilitate ease of shopping, credit/debit card swiping facilities have been introduced at all co-optex centers in Tamil Nadu.

Daily wear pure cotton Sarees, BedSheets, Bed Spreads, Pillow Covers, Dhoties, Lungies, Bath Towels, Readymade wears for Men, Chudidhars, Organic Cotton Sarees and home furnishing products have been stocked for this festive season. Hence, the Collector has requested the people to enjoy shopping at the co-operative stores and help the weavers.
