A newly married woman of Sulur reportedly committed suicide by hanging herself at her residence on Friday.
Perumalraj and Punitha Devi who were in love with each other got married four months ago. Perumalraj works as a conductor in TNSTC. The Sulur police have recovered her body and sent to CMCH for post-mortem. However, an RDO inquiry is on to find if the suicide was due to dowry harassment.
