Students of Hindustan Arts and Science College organised a dengue awareness rally at Odayampalayam

The Department of Biotechnology, Hindustan Arts and Science College today organized a dengue awareness rally at their college premise. 

Saraswati Kanniah, College Secretary flagged off the rally in the presence of College Principal, Staffs and students of biotechnology department. Nearly 150 students were part of the rally, the rally commenced from the college campus and marched to a nearby locality, Odayampalayam. Dr. Safana, a professional Sidha doctor advised the villagers of Odayampalayam regarding dengue preventive measures and hygienic practices to be followed to eradicate the disease. 



The students distributed 'Nilavembu' herbal medicinal powder and awareness pamphlets to the villagers and briefed them no consumption.
