Kongunadu Jananayaka Katchi and BJP alliance to continue for local body elections


Today, Kongunadu Jananayaka Katchi party called for a press meeting at the Coimbatore Press Club. During this meeting with the media, G.K. Nagaraj, State President of this party made an official announcement that Kongunadu Jananayaka Katchi will continue its alliance with BJP for the upcoming local body elections.

“We contested in two constituencies in the State assembly elections in May 2016. The same alliance (with the BJP) will continue for the local body elections. Our party has been allocated 35th and 36th wards in the Coimbatore Corporation. Also, our party is contesting more than 100 seats in Dharmapuri, Salem, Erode, Namakkal, Tiruppur, Nilgiri districts.” he said.
