Balaiya and Avuniammal, a couple from Madukkarai made an official trip to Kerala on the 16th of this month. When they returned, they noticed the front doors of their home forced open. The couple claim that gold ornaments weighing 10 sovereigns are missing from the cupboard in their home.
In this regard, a case has been registered at the Madukkarai Police Station. A search is on to nab the burglars.
