J Pravin (19) son of Tamil Nadu assembly deputy speaker Pollachi V Jayaraman had been booked for reckless driving after his car met with an accident. Pravin was booked for causing death by negligence (IPC Sec 304 a), causing hurt by an act endangering life (IPC sec 337) besides rash driving. However, Pravin is out on bail.
The accused who was driving the car was on the way to Erode with his friends. The car met with an accident near Avinashi on Wednesday evening. One of the passengers, Surekha, 18, from Saibaba Colony was killed in this accident.
