Tirupur: Irate public thrashed three youth from Orissa for abducting a cow and sexually abusing it and handed them over to the police.

Kandasamy, a farmer by profession, is a resident of Peruma Kavundampalayam village near Palladam, Tirupur. His cow has reportedly been unwell for the past few days, with signs of being healthy and alert during the day but tired and exhausted in the morning hours.

In the wee hours of Sunday morning, the farmer woke up to a sound. He went outside only to find the cow he had tethered missing and hence started searching nearby areas. He was shocked to find three youth sexually harassing his cow in a room at the chicken poultry nearby. With the help of neighbours, he immediately caught hold of the culprits and the villagers reportedly tied them and thrashed them.



Upon learning of the incident, the Palladam police went to the spot. On further investigation, it was revealed that the trio were from Orissa and were working in a nearby Kalkuwari. The trio reportedly had been abducting the cow at nights and sexually abusing it until the wee hours of the morning fo many days now.

The police have arrested the trio and are investigating the ruthless incident which has angered and shocked residents in the area.
