In a bid to spread awareness about the importance of staying healthy among people the AVP Research Foundation is hosting a district-level quiz competition for school children. This quiz competition is organized as a part of Kovai Arokkiya which is a citywide effort to educate citizens on building a healthier Coimbatore through simple life-style changes. The quarterfinal and the semi-final competition of AyuQUIZ 2016 for coveted PV Ram Varier Trophy culminated at the Ayurvedic Trust Campus that is located in Olmpus, Ramanathapuram today.
Nearly 300 students from schools in and around the city participated in this quiz contest. The teams from Vidyanikethan Matric Higher Sec School- Puyliyakulam, Amirta Vidyalayam- Ettimadai, Yuvabharathi Public School – Somayapalayam and CMS Marticulation Higher Sec School- Ganapathy will clash against each other in the grand finale of this quiz contest.
The finals of the competitions will be hosted in the seminar hall at the Ayurvedic Trust campus at Olympus, Ramanathapuram. The winning team will go home with the title, trophy and a laptop each. The first runner-up team will be awarded with a bicycle each while the second runner-up team would get a kindle each. As part of its initiative to spread awareness on healthy living, a seminar on healthy parenting will be organized by the AVP Research Foundation. This seminar will be hosted tomorrow, October 15 at the Seminar Hall, Ayurvedic Trust campus at Olmpus, Ramanathapuram.
