Saplings planted in memory of former president Dr. Kalam in city


Coimbatore-based Naveen Jai student of the Dr. R.V. Arts and Science College, National Service Scheme (NSS) volunteers of this institution and students of the students of Vidyaa Vikas Matric Higher Secondary School planted 30 saplings in memory of Dr. A PJ Abdul Kalam this morning.





These saplings were planted at Saraswathi Nagar and Veerapandi Pirivu reserved sites. The residents of Iyarkkai Annai also participated in this drive. The residents of this colony assured to water and nurture the saplings.
