Season II of 'Chef Extraordinaire' cooking competition hosted in PSG Arts.

City-based culinary expert Madhu Wadhwa and culinary connoisseur Anu Menda joined hands with PSG College of Arts and Science, and successfully hosted the Season II of 'Chef Extraordinaire' today. 

Judging this event were Sujani Balaji from Karamella, Ranjana of That’s Y Food group and Chef Mahesh Kumar from Vivanta by Taj Surya, Coimbatore.



More than a dozen teams participated in This contest, who had three rounds in all. All necessary ingredients and the recipe were provided to the participating teams.



“Such cooking contests bring together, under one roof individuals who are passionate about cooking. I am sure the contestants had fun participating and I am assuming that it has been a learning experience for them too.” Said Ranjana of Thats's Y Food.



Seconding her was Sujani who added “Such cooking contests are healthy to begin with and they bring out the best in individuals. Above all it has been a great platform for the students and the homemakers too to expose their culinary talents.” 



Chef Mahesh Kumar commented that catering and cooking are evergreen business and the demand for talented people in this industry will continue.
