Political and non-political parties protest against Babri Masjid judgement; hundreds arrested

Coimbatore: Hundreds of cadres from more than 20 political and non-political organisations including Tamilnadu Muslim Munnetra Kazhagam, Manidha Neya Makkal Kattchi, STPI, Jamadh-e-Islamic Hind and Thandhai Periyar Dravidar Kazhagam courted arrest for staging a demonstration against Babri Masjid judgement here in front of South Tahsildhar office here on Wednesday.

Coimbatore: Hundreds of cadres from more than 20 political and non-political organisations including Tamilnadu Muslim Munnetra Kazhagam, Manidha Neya Makkal Kattchi, STPI, Jamadh-e-Islamic Hind and Thandhai Periyar Dravidar Kazhagam courted arrest for staging a demonstration against Babri Masjid judgement here in front of South Tahsildhar office here on Wednesday. 



Alleging that the judgement was not fair and accroding to law, the protestors insisted that the Supreme Court must review its judgement. They raised slogans against the centre and called their approach as fascist.



The protest was led by Jawaharullah, Manidha Neya Makkal Kattchi, Tehlan Baqavi of SDPI, K. Ramakrishnan, General Secretary of Thandhai Periyar Dravidar Kazhagam and other party heads.
