The Chief Educational Officer (CEO) of Coimbatore has issued instructions to candidates appearing for the Teacher recruitment board exams. In a press release issued by the CEO, the board has made an official announcement stating that vacancies for post of Assistant Professor in engineering colleges will be filled.
An exam to select the right candidates to fill the current vacancies will be conducted on October 22 from 10 am to 1 pm in 16 centres in our city. Candidates who wish attempt this examination must be present at the respective exam venue at 8:30 am on the day of examination.
At the examination centres, candidates must hand-over their belongings to the respective supervisors at the entrance. Candidates will not be allowed to take mobiles, palmtops, laptops, blue tooth equipment, calculator, electronic wrist watch, any other electronic devices or handkerchiefs inside the examination hall. The press release also stated that the candidates will be permitted to take two ball point pens and hall tickets into the examination hall.
The candidates should be present at the respective examination centre latest by at 9 am on the day of exam. Candidates who reach the examination centre later than 9 am, will have to take the permission of Chief Exam Officer to appear for the exam. After 9.30am no candidate will be allowed to enter the examination hall.
Police personnel will be deployed at all the examination venues and candidates will be frisked before entering the examination hall. Candidates will be made to wait in the designated waiting halls for men and woman after which they will proceed to the respective examination halls.
