A worried Murugan lodged a complaint with the headmaster of this school. Following this, the boy’s parents attacked Murugan and his family members. Murugan shares that he and his family received death threats too.

It is stated that this prompted Murugan to lodge a complaint with the K. G. Chavadi police station. However, it has been reported that the police refused to file any complaint in this regard.

A dejected Murugan attempted suicide by consuming powder that is meant to keep ants away. He was rushed to the Government Hospital (GH). Having undergone treatment at the GH, Murugan was discharged from GH today.
