Navabkhan (48) is the 1998 bomb blast accused who is serving life imprisonment. He is lodged in Coimbatore central prison. Last month he complained of chest pain and was treated for the same at Government Hospital (GH) after which he was lodged in prison.
Today, he complained yet again of chest pain and was referred to GH. Currently, he is admitted at the GH and is undergoing treatment at this hospital. Owing to this security, at the GH has been stepped up, especially at the ward where he is admitted.
