After two years of courtship, Logeshwaran from Ganapathy and Devi tied the nuptial knot about six months ago. Logeshwaran is a mechanic by profession while Devi was employed by a private firm in Coimbatore. The couple was reportedly staying individually. Devi has been experiencing depression for some time. This prompted her to commit suicide. Today Devi took this extreme step by hanging herself.
Her body was sent to the Government Hospital (GH) for a post-mortem. On receiving information, RDO has been registered and the police are investigating.
