Female elephant falls sick again, shifted to Sadivayal for advanced treatment

The 30-year-old female elephant that was undergoing treatment at Periya Thadagam is currently been shifted to Sadivayal for further treatment.  



Post-treatment the elephant showed good signs of improvement and even got up on it's foot. However, today the elephant was again spotted lying down in a diminished state of health. Hence, the forest officials and the crew of doctors have decided to shift the elephant to Sadivayal elephant camp at Siruvani for detailed analysis and advanced treatment.
