Today, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International School of Textiles and Management (SVPISTM) hosted its 8th Convocation day. This is an autonomous institution operating, under the Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India, New Delhi. At this event, Director Dr C Rameshkumar released the Annual Report of SVPISTM for the year 2015-2016.

At this graduation day, 61 students were awarded PGDM degree and a special award was given to outstanding rank holders.
Dr.S.Manian. Vice Chancellor, Annamalai University, Chidambaram, delivered the convocation address. He was guest of honour and he handed over the degree certificates to the graduates. Through his talk, he encouraged the students to become entrepreneurs by getting experience from industries and he urged the young students to make India the leading textile export country in the world.

He mentioned that SVPISTM has distinguished itself as eminent and emphasized its commitment and achieves excellence in Textile Industry. He addressed the institution a Centre for innovation, incubation and entrepreneur to create, shape and mould successful professionals. He expressed to graduates that it is the day of pride and also he said, students are bound to be grateful to their parents and institution.
