Festivals and special occasions unite people Deputy Commissioner of Police - Traffic, Coimbatore S. Saravanan says

Deputy Commissioner of Police - Traffic, Coimbatore S. Saravanan this morning attended a meeting at the Government Hospital (GH). At this kidney transplantation authorisation meeting, the kind gesture of the kidney donors was remembered and appreciated. Saravanan shares with us a majority of the patients who are in need of a kidney transplant are helped with donors within their family.

“This act of coming ahead and donating a vital organ to save a life must be appreciated. It is overwhelming that a few strangers have become donors. They (strangers) have no clue about who would benefit from their kind act of donating their vital organ(s), yet they do so. They are people with a big heart.” Saravanan says.

Speaking on eve of the festival of lights, Saravanan turned philosophical. “This is the festival of lights and we must celebrate it with our near and dear ones. We must wipe out our differences and unite with our family to celebrate this festival of lights.”
