Attackers escape after attacking class ten students with sickle on Diwali

Ganesh lives with his family in Selvapuram in Coimbatore. On Diwali, Shiva and Dinesh lit firecrackers in front of Ganesh’s home. Ganesh asked the duo to refrain from doing so and a verbal war of words broke between the three.

He was joined by his daughter Aishwarya who is a class X student. In a fit of rage, Shiva and Dinesh attacked Aishwarya with a sickle and they fled the scene. An injured Aishwarya was rushed to the city Government Hospital (GH) where she is undergoing treatment for her injuries.
