Alert public hands over thief to Peelamedu police, stolen cash recovered



Arjunan (52) is a resident of Thirumalai Nagar in Tirupur was driving to Coimbatore in his car yesterday. He stopped by an eatery on Avinashi Road. While he returned back to his car he was shocked to notice a stranger trying to flee with 1.5 lakh of cash from his car. Arjunan raised an alarm and the public caught this stranger red-handed with the cash. The offender was handed to Peelamedu B6 Police Station.

Upon interrogation, the offender involved in this day light robbery was identified as Senthil Kumar (35) from RS Puram. He has been arrested and currently lodged in the prison.
