Lieutenant General PM Hariz AVSM, SM, VSM, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief (GOC) Southern Command was in Coimbatore, yesterday, on 16 November 2016. During his trip to the city he visited the Army Units and Installations at Coimbatore Military Station. Lt. General PM Hariz took over as General Officer Commanding (GOC) for Southern Command on 1st September, 2016.
He interacted with the officers and motivated them to spare no effort in serving the nation well. He also supervised the existing facilities available for serving the personnel and ex-servicemen and directed measures to enhance the same.
