Welfare party of India seeks action from Modi to solve the issue of cash crunch

Members of the Welfare party of India today protested in front of the BSNL office in Coimbatore. They warned of more protests if Prime Minister Modi fails to solve the current situation of non availability of cash due to the demonetisation process initiated by the central government.

The protestors stated that the announcement which made the Rs.500 and Rs.1000 rupees notes invalid has forced the public to stand in long queues in front of banks and ATMs. They also stated that the central government took this step to save the banks which suffer from non payment of loans to the tune of Rs.7 lakh crores that the banks have provided to the corporate companies who have in turn failed to repay their loans.

Prime Minister announced that the problems that developed following the demonetisation process will be resolved by the end of December. The protesters stated that if the problems are not resolved even after December they will protest by sending a rope used for hanging to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

A lot of people participated in this protest led by the party General secretary of Tamilnadu Abdul Rahman. Police pacified the protesters after which the protestors left the protest venue.
