It has been reported that the R.S. Puram police received a tip-off that some people are involved in gambling in Seeranaickenpalayam. Following this a police team led by S.A. Balachandran rushed to MGR Nagar in Seeranacikenpalayam and caught red handed a group of people who were gambling. The police arrested nine persons from this area for their involvement in gambling and recovered Rs.3,000 cash from them.
