CCMC collects Rs.39.35 crores so far, through taxation drive


It has been reported that Rs. 2.61 crores was collected by the Coimbatore Corporation from the five corporation zones towards property tax, drinking water charges and business tax said Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner K. Vijayakarthikeyan.

Sharing details of the taxes collected Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner said, “Rs. 50.28 lakhs was collected from east zone, Rs.35.65 lakhs was collected from west zone, Rs 24.36 was collected from south zone, Rs.49.48 was collected from north zone and Rs. 1.01 crores was collected from the central zone as taxes.”

In the 11 days from November 11 to November 21, Rs.39.35 crores has been collected as taxes by the Coimbatore Corporation.
