HPCL donates van to UPF, as part of CSR initiatives

Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL) has donated a van to Universal Peace Foundation (UPF) as a part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative.



Yesterday, in an event hosted by HPCL, the van was handed over to Sri Krishna Mohan of UPF by M.Sandeep DGM-I/C of HPCL South Zone. Benny C Thomas, Chief Regional Manager of HPCL of Coimbatore Regional Office, Sriraman, Co-ordinator and other senior officials from HPCL were present during the handing over the ceremony.



Founded in the year, 2000, Universal peace foundation, is taking care of 333 inmates including 135 - destitute children, 60 - destitute elders,21- physically challenged persons and 36 - mentally retarded persons. UPF was accoladed with 'Best Orphanage Home in Coimbatore District' for the year 2015.
