DCP (traffic) Saravanan takes swift action to ensure that Sungam speed-breaker is painted

Deputy Commissioner of Police, (Traffic), S. Saravanan is known to take swift action to set things right on our roads. He does it yet again. This time, he and his team of officials worked in record time to ensure that speed breaker on the Sungam Road is painted.

A new speed breaker was installed at the Sungam Road. However, this was left unpainted. One of the regular users of this road requested the officials to do something about this. This request was made on WhatsApp group Namma Covai. DCP, Saravanan who is also a part of this group was quick to respond.

He promptly replied to this message saying that the needful will be done and the same was done as promised. In less than 24-hours, this particular speed breaker was painted and the DCP assured that cat's eyes will be installed on this road soon.  He also conveyed that a signage informing road users of the presence of this speed breaker will be put up.

Upon completing this painting work, the DCP shared a message along with the image of the same on the Namma Covai WhatsApp group. Following which members of this group appreciated the DCP for taking swift action to ensure that this road is safe for our users.

“It is because of teamwork we were able to set things right in a short span of time. As soon as I received this request, I passed on the message to my team and Assistant Commissioner Magudapathi, Traffic Inspector (west) Sadhasivam, Traffic Inspector (east) Iyyarsamy, sub-inspectors and constables worked together to ensure that the speed breaker is painted. The public can WhatsApp their traffic related grievance to the Police Control Room and the needful will be done to set things right on our roads.”  Saravanan said.
