Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation (CCMC), Dr K Vijay Karthikeyan, inspected the gymnasium that has been constructed by the Coimbatore Corporation in Lakshmipuram, Ganapathy at ward 48. He also inspected the sanitation works undertaken by the sanitary workers in this ward.
As a part of this inspection, the Corporation Commissioner supervised the application of Abate mosquito killer to control dengue and other mosquito-borne disease. Objects that prove to be breeding ground for mosquitoes, were removed from this ward.
