Librarians complete their training programme at SKCET

The hands-on training programme for international librarians began on 29 November at the Venkatram Learning Center at the Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology (SKCET). As part of this programme, the participants were trained on various aspects of library management like digital library, GSDL open source software and developing a intranet library website. This training programme concluded today.



Speaking on the occasion CEO of the college Dr. M. Jayakumar said, “The various MoUs signed by the Sri Krishna Institutions with the foreign universities have helped to improve the quality of education, infrastructure facilities, training facilities that are offered to the students. This has also improved the chances of students who aspire to pursue their higher education in foreign countries.”
